The performance Born in pieces is a collage of elements bringing together material that deals with the current and historical Zimbabwean context. This piece was carried out as part of Invisible Miracles, a worshop directed by Joan Jonas. The form of this piece is open and it may be developed or enacted in different environments and media.

This work is an experiment which seeks a role for the art work in confronting the effects of hidden or explicit forms of violence.. It searches for a way to create resonance in viewers in a context other than the one dealt with.
